You guessed it! Carole King at her piano singing, You’ve Got A Friend. Doesn’t get much better!
Since I’ve been thinking a lot about friends lately, new ones and old ones and I recently saw Carole King’s (Klein) musical tribute, Beautiful, on Broadway – this video seems the perfect synthesis. Besides, you’ll feel happy just singing the words.

A friend treated me to “Beautiful” in SF, before the NYC opening. I liked it very much. I think the entire house went home pleased.

  Lucky you, that’s a good friend. I saw it on Broadway (NYC) and I was floored at not only the fantastic and prolific music, but her story and all the other musical legends of that time. It was heartwarming and very real..
